Dress Code

Royal Winchester Golf Club seeks to promote a friendly and relaxed atmosphere whilst maintaining a standard of dress, both on the Course and in the Clubhouse, which is appropriate to the traditions of a private members' golf club. Members and visitors are expected to comply with the Dress Code at all times.

Course

Recognised and conventional golf clothing and footwear only may be worn. Shorts should be tailored and of reasonable length. Gentlemen wearing shorts must wear long socks or predominantly white sports socks

Clubhouse

Dress in the clubhouse should be recognised golf clothing or smart casual clothes.  Clothing should be clean and dry but not ripped or torn.  Footwear is required, although golf shoes are not permitted in the bar or upstairs areas of the clubhouse.

Dress code for private events will be as agreed with the Club Manager and for social events will be as listed on the event ticket and notice.
